Baby Boomers... There must be something in the water here at Giles HQ. It’s already been something of a baby boom year... and 2011 is only half way through! We are absolutely thrilled and delighted to announce the birth of not one... not two... but three beautiful babies.Senior Travel Consultant, Jo Thrussell, left on maternity leave back in March and gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Little Millie and Mum have been in to see us a few times since and every time they pay a visit there’s no shortage of willing baby minders angling for a cuddle. Specialist Airfares Consultant, Rachel Young gave birth to a lovely little boy, Jake, on 3rd July (pictured here). Two weeks early and weighing in at a very health 8lb 12oz, Jake and proud mum came in to see us recently. At just twelve days old, Jake was suitably unimpressed and spent the whole time asleep, only waking up for his bottle before getting back to some serious nap time. Most recently, Jackie Norris, event manager in our specialist meetings & events division Globe, gave birth to a bouncing baby, Owen, on 12th July. All mothers and babies are doing really well and we wish all our proud new parents the very best... and look forward to getting them back to work! News Date: 28-07-2011 |
