Travel templates can be saved and stored for repeat bookings with city information, directions, maps, activities and events all fed into the same single screen, easy to use interface. Full online support for authorisation processes and travel profile administration means G-CONNECT provides an incredible powerful toolset to travel bookers and, of course, every element of the dynamic system can be customised to your particular travel policy and account. And now G-CONNECT is even faster! GetThere have introduced a new enhancement to the checkout process, substantially reducing the number of steps to go through in order to complete an online booking. The result is a time saving of almost 75%! The new GetThere Express gives users a friendlier and faster check-out experience with a far better purchase flow. A new single collapsed check-out page has been created to integrate the current Review & Modify Trip, Traveller Information, and Billing Information pages. Each section of the new page is collapsible or expandable and is headed by a Section Bar with the section’s header or title clearly presented. Also, an improved behavior is introduced for managing Frequent Traveller Numbers, the display of Travel Policy fields and TSA (Secure Fight) fields (now only prompted for when travelling to the US Travel). GetThere Express will go live automatically by 14th October 2011 for all customer online sites and will also include the ability to book RyanAir flights online.
