BA Strikes Go Ahead Following an appeal the High Court injunction has been over-turned. This meansthe British Airways cabin crew strike may continue. Please see the following statement from British Airways Following the appeal outcome over turning the High Court injunction, Unite has announced that it will not strike BEFORE Monday 24 May 2010. This does NOT mean we have received formal notification that they will strike from Monday. In order to give our customers certainty, we have taken the decision to proceed with our contingency plans and as such we will be loading a revised schedule for the period 24 May - 29 May 2010 with immediate effect. It may take several hours for systems to be updated. Real-Time Arrivals and Departures on ba.com will be the most accurate source of flight information. There has been no change to the customer guidelines. We will run a full programme at London Gatwick and London City. At London Heathrow, we will operate more than 60 per cent of our long haul operation and more than 50 per cent of short haul. We plan to fly more than 70 per cent of the customers who were booked to fly with us in the period targeted.
